Tennessee Football: 5 Recruits The Vols Will Land In 2018 Class

Quay Walker — Outside Linebacker
5-star — Cordele, GA
Of all the 2018 recruiting targets remaining, Quay Walker is probably the most important one for Tennessee.
Walker, who is now a five-star recruit according to 247Sports, has the potential to be a game changing pass rusher for the Volunteers. He would be a perfect fit in Jeremy Pruitt’s 3-4 defense.
The Georgia native is currently committed to Alabama, but no one expects him to end up in Tuscaloosa.
It looks like this one could down between Georgia and Tennessee. The Vols have a lot of momentum after Walker officially visited UT earlier this month, but the Bulldogs are a recruiting juggernaut right now.
When it’s all said and done, however, I think Walker’s relationship with Pruitt and defensive coordinator Kevin Sherrer, plus the promise of immediate playing time, will sway the talented linebacker to Rocky Top.
