Game-By-Game predictions for Predators-Avalanche series
By Chris Clark
A year ago, the underdog Predators swept the top-seeded Blackhawks. Can they complete another sweep versus the Avalanche?
On Thursday night, the Nashville Predators will be facing the Colorado Avalanche. It will kick off another run for the Stanley Cup for our boys. But, unlike last season, they are heavy favorites to win the cup.
It feels good having a Nashville team as the top dogs in the playoffs. This is quite new to us, so let me call your attention to some things:
Let’s not get too carried away! We all saw what can happen if you underestimate an opponent in the playoffs. I mean, we enjoyed the consequences that were given to the Blackhawks for doing so. In case you don’t know, or remember, the Predators swept the Blackhawks as a wildcard team.
Now, a year later we are in the Blackhawks position. As many Chicago fans are hoping for karma to strike us, Nashville is looking to learn from their own success by not allowing history to repeat itself.
Do I think history will repeat itself? Here are my predictions for EACH game in the first round between the Predators and the Avalanche.
