The media has been rampant for the last 24 hours. Even I, the guy writing this article, will have an article out at this point titled “Can the Predators Complete Their Second Sweep in Franchise History?”
But from the start of this game, you’ll be able to tell that this is just not the Predators’ night. The desperate Avalanche, facing elimination, will be laying it out on the line to survive another day. They’ll get out to an early 2-0 lead in the first two periods.
The Predators won’t respond until a Ryan Johansen goal in the third period. But unfortunately, that’ll be their only goal of the game, as Colorado will continue to pounce on the Predators, scoring two more goals and surviving for another game.
