The Tennessee Titans, Houston Texans, and Jacksonville Jaguars are the new faces of the AFC South. Which one is set up for success the most?

The AFC South division used to be the laughing stock of the NFL. The Tennessee Titans could not make the playoffs. The Jacksonville Jaguars were the forgotten ones. However, the Houston Texans were actually decent and so were the Indianapolis Colts.

Now, the Titans have emerged as a serious contender. The Jaguars went toe-to-toe with the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship. The Texans have promise in their young quarterback. (Let’s not talk about the Colts.)

What made the AFC South better? Well, depending on what team you are talking about, it is either the quarterback position or defense.

The Jaguars invested a lot of money in their defense over several years. Because of that, they had one of the NFL’s top defenses in 2017.

The Titans and Texans, on the other hand, happened to be in the right spot to draft the quarterbacks of their future.

Not to state the obvious here, but the quarterback position is the most important one on the field. You can have a great defense, but if you do not have a good quarterback, it is unlikely that you will see yourself in the Super Bowl.

The following are AFC South quarterbacks that are set up for success, ranked from 4-1.
