Blake Bortles

I know there is a Jaguars fan reading this right now thinking, “Oh how biased.” As I said before, I put this together with the least amount of bias possible. The Jaguars took the league by storm last year with their “Sacksonville” and “Duval” taglines.

They were the typical NFL’s Cinderella team, going from 3-13 in one season to 10-6 in the next one. I’ve been an NFL fan for quite some time now, and one thing I do know is that every year there are those Cinderella teams.

Typically, they have one big year then go back to the bottom. But in some instances, they have that big year but digress just a little bit. I think the Jaguars will be the latter.

Hear me out, here. The Jaguars have a great defense, but the offense is not too flashy. Jacksonville did lose a few pieces, including Allen Robinson to the Bears.

Not to mention, Jacksonville did not make many splashy moves on offense. You can only do so much as a team with a good defense. The Jaguars caught fire last year, and was merely banking on Bortles to simply not turn the ball over.

That alone should make you wonder, is the offense good enough? I believe the Jaguars have some work to do before they are considered a complete team.
