Tennessee Football: 5 Bold Season Predictions for the Volunteers
The Tennessee football season is quickly approaching with a matchup against WVU on September 1st. Here are five bold predictions for the Volunteers season.
The Tennessee Volunteers are heading into the 2018 season with a bunch of unknowns. After losing eight games for the first time in Tennessee history and firing Butch Jones, Tennessee football looks to be heading in the right direction.
The Volunteers have already made a few strides in the right direction, as they have hired a football coach in Jeremy Pruitt that knows football and is a proven winner. On top of that, they have also made strides hiring Phillip Fulmer as the athletic director and have also killed it on the recruiting trail.
This will be an interesting year for the Tennessee football team. The expectations for Volunteer fans have always been “win now”, especially after the struggles over the past decade. It will be hard for Tennessee to win now, considering the very hard schedule the Volunteers have. But with that, the Volunteers definitely look like they are moving in the right direction.
After putting a good staff around Pruitt, and the success the staff has had on the recruiting trail, it looks like Volunteers have the chance to be relevant again in a few years. I’m sure many fans will be satisfied with a bowl game after Year One for Pruitt.
The season is almost upon us, and here are five bold predictions for the 2018 Tennessee Volunteer football team.
