#1 – Which running back stands out for the Vols

The Tennessee Volunteers have had different running backs stand each week. Tim Jordan stood out Week One against West Virginia, rushing for over 100 yards and a touchdown.

Last week against ETSU, Jordan, Jeremy Banks, and Madre London all looked impressive. Jordan had 65 yards on 15 rushes, while true freshman Banks finished with 13 rushes for 62 yards and his first two career rushing touchdowns. Madre London also had two rushing touchdowns last week, running the ball eight times for 47 yards.

Ty Chandler will also return to action this week after missing last week’s game and most of the WVU game. All four running backs will get a good bit of action this Saturday against a UTEP team that has allowed 260 rushing yards a game so far this season.

This is a good problem for the Volunteers to have offensively, considering all four running backs have shown promise here while on Rocky Top.
