This will be the first matchup for both coaches in this rivalry, as they Volunteers hired Jeremy Pruitt this offseason and Florida hired Dan Mullen from Mississippi State.
This will be an interesting matchup for both teams. Both teams still have a few question marks and for both teams, a win in this game would be a huge momentum booster.
The Gators head into this matchup with a 2-1 record with wins against Charleston Southern and Colorado State and a loss to Kentucky. Their offense heads into this game scoring 39 points a game, while just allowing 14.3 a game.

He has just 14 rushing attempts but has run for 162 yards and a touchdown. Jordan Scarlett is also a key rusher for the Gators, as he has carried the ball 19 times for 105 yards.
The Volunteers will need to keep an eye out for Van Jefferson, the Ole Miss transfer. Jefferson leads the Gators with eight receptions for 127 yards and three touchdowns.
Like always, the Gators defense will be a threat coming into this game. The Gators have forced eight turnovers coming into this game. Rayshad Jackson and Chauncey Garnder will be key players for the Gators defense on Saturday.
