#1 – The Volunteers defense

This will be a very big game for the Volunteers defense. Florida doesn’t have a great offense, but it’s the best offense the Volunteers have faced since the West Virginia game, and we all know what happened in that game. Since allowing 40 points to Will Grier and the Mountaineers offense, the Volunteers defense has allowed just three points to ETSU and shutout UTEP this past Saturday.

Young guys like Bryce Thompson have received a ton of reps since that West Virginia game, so they should be ready for this matchup against Florida.

One huge thing for the Volunteers this Saturday night will be turnovers. The Volunteers need to force turnovers. The Volunteers have only forced three turnovers through three games, but it would be huge for the Volunteers to force a few more this Saturday.

Not only do the Volunteers need to force turnovers, but they also need to get to the quarterback. The Volunteers have only sacked the quarterback four times this season. They can’t let Franks have all day in the pocket, and I’m sure Coach Pruitt and staff have made that the main focus this week.
