#2 – Have the playmakers standout

The Tennessee Volunteers have talented players throughout their roster and there is no doubt about that. But will the Volunteers use all of those threats this week against Florida? Last week, I questioned a few of the play calls offensively from Tyson Helton, but maybe he was holding back for this week’s matchup.

The Volunteers will have to find their playmakers this Saturday if they want to win. Jarrett Guarantano has looked good all season, so I’m sure they will find ways to use his arm this Saturday. Guarantano will need to find Marquez Callaway this Saturday, as he is a special player. Callaway can make a play out of anything and is almost a sure catch everytime the ball is thrown to him. Jauan Jennings, who of course was famous for burning Teez Tabor two years ago in Neyland Stadium, will look to have another good game against Florida.

The Volunteers will also need to find a way to use their impressive running backs. They have four running backs that can make some noise on the ground. Ty Chandler stuck out last game as the impressive running back, but the Volunteers have had a different running back show out each week so far.

Defensively, the Volunteers have to have their playmakers make some plays on Saturday under the lights. The crowd will be behind them all night and will be looking for the defense to come up with turnovers. The Volunteers will need guys like Darrin Kirkland Jr. and Daniel Bituli to create havoc at the linebacker spot, while guys like Bryce Thompson and Nigel Warrior can make some noise in the secondary.
