#5 – Experience

This is cliche but one of the main reasons that the Nashville Predators should be good this season is because of experience. The Nashville Predators have a ton of experience over these last few seasons and that should help them if they want to make another deep playoff run this season.

The Predators have been deep in the playoffs before and they know what it’s like to win important games, that’s why I think they will succeed this year.

They did lose a few veteran players in Mike Fisher and Scott Hartnell this past offseason, but they also added on veteran defensemen Dan Hamhuis, who was Nashville first-round draft pick back in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. Hamhuis will bring along a good veteran presence to a team that lost a few in the offseason. He will likely be on the defensive third line and should be a good contributor.

Rinne has struggled in the playoffs over the last few years, but has been one of the best goalies during the regular season. Saros continues to get more and more starts as his career goes on, which should help him tremendously, as he will take over Rinne’s job in a few years when he retires.

The Predators will have a good mix of talent throughout their roster and if they are able to put it together like they have these last few seasons, Predators fans will surely be happy.
