#1 – Jordan Bone dominated the Kentucky guards

All year long, Jordan Bone has looked like one of the best point guards in the country and he proved his worth on Saturday. Bone led all scorers with 27 points, going 11-15 from the field and a perfect 5-5 from beyond the arc. He also pulled down three rebounds, dished three assists, pulled in two steals and didn’t commit a turnover.

That’s how you want your star point guard to play against one of the best teams in the country. Bone played a perfect game for the Volunteers yesterday, and it was very much needed for them, as they looked to get out of this little slump they seemed to be in.

All game long, Bone was able to drive by the Kentucky guards that were matched up on him, whether that be Ashton Hagans, Jemarl Baker Jr., or Immanuel Quickley. Hagans, who is one of the best freshman guards in the nation, had no answer for the quickness of Bone.

Bone even embarrassed Hagans in the second half after he slapped the floor, but Bone blew right by him, just like he did the entire game.

One thing that Bone has displayed all season long is his tremendous speed and his speed was on display on Saturday against Kentucky.

So far this season, Bone has played two good games against the Wildcats. He also posted a team-high 19 points in Rupp Arena two weeks ago.

The Tennessee Basketball page also threw shade at Kentucky’s Herro. During Kentucky’s win against Arkansas on Tuesday, it looked like Herro told an Arkansas player that he was a bucket after making a free throw. Well after the Volunteers held Herro to just six points and Bone posted a career-high 27 points, the Twitter page responded.

If Bone is able to shoot as well as he did on Saturday, it will be scary to see how good this Volunteers team can be in the SEC Tournament and the NCAA Tournament.
