The Predators were the eighth seed in the NHL Playoffs in 2017; there’s no way they could beat the top-seeded Blackhawks, right?

In this Game 2 matchup, the one seed Blackhawks were down 0-1 to the eight seed Predators and did not reach the four-goal prediction from Big Cat. They didn’t score at all actually and lost 5-0.

This was probably the most famous playoff series in Predators history. They achieved the impossible and took down the one seed in the Western Conference.

That historic series win ultimately sparked the Predators to go on a historic run to the Stanley Cup Final.

But not many thought the Predators would win the series against the Blackhawks much less sweep them.

Big Cat might’ve been one of the most shocked after he along with just about anyone else assumed the Blackhawks would dispose of the Predators in a quick series.

This was an awesome time to be a Predators fan. I jumped on the Preds the season before so being a relatively new fan the rush of becoming the first ever eight seed to sweep a one seed was amazing.
