John Cena is a well-known Boston sports fan. But when it comes to his favorite college football team, he has not openly shared who his favorite team or teams are.

He hasn’t openly come out and said it, but it seems like Cena is a Tennessee Vols fan. He came into the WWE in the early 2000s, and at that time the WWE locker room was filled with VFLs.

Wrestling legends from just about any decade have openly professed their love for Tennessee sports including many wrestlers from the Attitude Era in WWE.

But regardless of who opened Cena up to Tennessee football, it seems like he has embraced the state of Tennessee and the Vols battle cry “Rocky Top.”

At Wrestlemania 34, Cena joined two Tennesseans in singing Rocky Top, but that wasn’t the first time he has been seen singing the song.

At a 2006 WWE event in Knoxville, he led the crowd in singing Rocky Top. Of course, you could say he sang the song to get over with the fans, but since then he has been seen around the state with well known Vol fans in the wrestling community.

Cena also appeared on Saturday Night Live in 2016 where he made fun of Alabama football in a skit.

If anything that has to earn some extra brownie points from the Tennessee crowd. He should at least be crowned an honorary VFL at the least if you’re not willing to let him join the family just off this alone.

Maybe we will get a full answer soon, but for now, Cena seems to be a VFL and has shown he has liked Tennessee since joining the WWE.
