Mike Vrabel might’ve proved he’s a football guy on the ‘Bussin with the Boys’ podcast where he said he’s willing to sacrifice his body to win.

You could probably get most players to say they’re willing to cut off a finger, hand, or leg in exchange for a Super Bowl but Titans coach Mike Vrabel took it to another level in his recent interview on the ‘Bussin with the Boys‘ podcast.

The podcast is hosted by Titans left tackle Taylor Lewan, and he brought the hard-hitting questions which led to podcast assistant Matt Neely and Coach Vrabel admit they’d be willing to do some crazy things for a Super Bowl.

“(Podcast assistant) Matt Neely said he would cut off his (genitals) for a, you know, Super Bowl, and I said, ‘No I would not do that.’ Would you cut your (genitals) off for a Super Bowl?” Lewan asked.

Vrabel then answered in what some may think would be surprising, but Vrabel seems to be a football guy, so it hardly shocks me at all. Vrabel’s answer was, “Yeah, probably.”

He said that he’d be willing to do it because he’s been married for 20 years. All I can really say to that is you do you. If you’re a win-at-all-costs guy, then I think you have to go all out with that narrative, and Vrabel definitely did.

That’s the kind of coach I want to see running the Nissan Stadium sidelines. He’s going to do whatever it takes to get the job done even if it comes down to losing a valuable piece of his body.

Speaking of whatever it takes, I can just see Vrabel walking into Nissan Stadium Week 1 with airpods listening to “Whatever It Takes” by Imagine Dragons.

He won three Super Bowls with the Patriots, so he’s not in dire need of a ring. But what better way to cement your legacy in the NFL than win three championships as a player and another as a coach.

Unfortunately, I think it’s time to let go of Lewan since he said he would not be willing to make that sacrifice. I don’t know if I can trust my left tackle if he’s not willing to do whatever it takes to win.

Just kidding, of course, I wouldn’t cut Lewan I’d trade him for assets. Alright alright, I’m done I obviously wouldn’t get rid of Lewan he’s a centerpiece for not only the offense but the entire team.

Next. ESPN likes the Titans to have an average season. dark

Although Vrabel and Lewan weren’t on the same page on this matter, I have no doubt they’ll be on the same page come the fall. The Titans could be ready for another run at the postseason with or without Vrabel’s sacrifice.
