Tennessee Titans: Do Titans fans qualify as the worst in the NFL?

Casino.org did a study on the most vulgar NFL fanbases, and the Tennessee Titans were high on the list, almost too high.

When you think of Tennessee Titans fans, you don’t necessarily think of overly vulgar fans but apparently Titans fans are among the worst when it comes to vulgarity.

I think this stems partially from the Tennessee Vols leading Titans fans to go over the edge come Sunday. In all seriousness, though this is surprising at least to me because I don’t think I have ever come across an overly vulgar Titans fan.

Maybe I’m hanging out with the good Titans fans I don’t know, but I would like to meet some of these vulgar fans. I’m sure they’re nice people.

I do think a lot of this stems from Twitter with Titans fans throwing haymakers at other fanbases. Tennessee fans when it comes to any sport usually don’t hold anything back and can be a spectacle to see in real-time.

Anyways, thanks to Allan Bell of 247Sports we now know that the Titans are one of the most vulgar fan bases in the NFL according to NFLReddit.

This is based just off of Reddit users and if you think Twitter is bad it’s pretty much no holds barred over on Reddit.

I’m kind of surprised though to see the Titans so high, but after last season I can imagine some not so holy words were tossed around both Reddit and Twitter.

It is interesting to see the Jaguars and the Titans right there at the top at one and two. If I had to bet a lot of those profane words were being thrown at each other throughout the season.

The Browns and Raiders follow the Titans and honestly that doesn’t surprise me one bit. Last season was electric for the Browns so they probably had every word imaginable flying through their subreddit and the Raiders, well, you know how they are.

I will say this is an interesting stat and might be one of my favorites. I might have to keep my eyes peeled for years to come on a stat like this. Maybe someone can get us a stat like this for Twitter I’d love to see those numbers.

But maybe it’s different on Reddit, or I don’t follow the right Titans fans on Twitter. If you have any good, follow suggestions let me know!

This could be a great season to follow some entertaining Titans fans as the Titans are on the verge of looking for a new quarterback and threatening to win the AFC at the same time.

I still don’t know if I can believe that Titans fans are that vulgar, but hey it is what it is and if that’s how it is on Reddit so be it. Maybe they will calm down this year is that likely?
