The Tennessee Titans controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk was asked if they would pursue a new stadium and she gave a hard no.

At this moment in the sports world, we don’t see very many stadiums surpass the 20-year mark without the team move into a new stadium or announcing a new stadium is being built.

If you were hoping the Titans would be moving into a new stadium anytime soon I hate to inform you that will not be happening.

Titans controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk went on 104.5 The Zone and proclaimed that she doesn’t want a new stadium which means the Titans will play at Nissan Stadium for a while.

"“I don’t want a new stadium,” she said on Midday 180. “But I do like the Hard Rock Stadium [where the Miami Dolphins play]. That’s a very interesting model and one that we need to keep looking further at to make improvements.”"

Hard Rock Stadium is a beautiful, new NFL stadium and one of the best in the league and comes with a unique design. An interesting choice for Strunk but it makes sense.

The problem with building a new stadium in Nashville is where it will go. The Titans currently have the best location for their stadium already right there on the Cumberland River and right next to downtown.

For local and visiting fans alike this is a perfect spot for the stadium because you can park downtown and go do all the fun Nashville things before or after the game without having to go across town or pay for multiple parking spots.

Strunk made another point by saying “stadium doesn’t win football games” and although she’s right, a nice stadium does get more fans out to the game. We are in a moment in time where ticket prices are rising while the experience isn’t getting much better.

This leaves many fans preferring to stay at home because things like parking and concession prices gouge you on top of the high ticket prices.

That was another thing Strunk spoke about. She said the fan experience was important to her and she wants to continue to improve it every year.

"“That’s important to me: Fan experience,” Strunk said. “We have a lot of areas we get better at every year. We’ve got to just keep looking down the road for what would be the best thing for our stadium to become.”"

You could hear just about every owner of any team say this but not make the appropriate efforts to make it more enjoyable like lower ticket and concession prices.

With a new stadium, some fans are willing to bite that bullet to check out the new venue and try out some new menu items. With the same stadium slowly rotting, it becomes less and less worth the price to experience a game.

I don’t have anything against Nissan Stadium I haven’t been to a lot of Titans games in person so I can’t definitively say it is a good stadium or not. But I can say they are undefeated so hit me up Titans so we can beat the Colts again.

Next. Do Titans fans qualify as the worst in the NFL?. dark

I’m fine with the current stadium, and if Strunk believes she can improve the fan experience without getting a new stadium, then that’s fine with me. She’s just going to have to find new, innovative ways to make fans want to come to games again.
