The Nashville Predators won their second game of the season on Tuesday night in dominating fashion against the San Jose Sharks.

The Nashville Predators have started their first Stanley Cup Finals Championship season on the right track after taking care of the San Jose Sharks 5-2 on Tuesday night.

It seemed like everyone on the Predators got in on the fun. The Preds dominated in just about every facet of the Tuesday night matchup, and Preds fans once again proved their the best in the NHL after being loud all night long.

10 Predators players were credited with a goal or assist, including newly added Matt Duchene, who has done nothing but impress in his first few games in Nashville.

The center, Duchene, now has five assists in his first three games totaling five points. He hasn’t scored a goal yet, but when he does, Smashville will erupt in cheers, and I’m here to see it happen.

Duchene continuing his dominance isn’t the only thing to be happy about. After having an abysmal power play offense last year, the Predators scored their second power-play goal of the season.

Roman Josi scored the power-play goal in the second period to put the Preds up 2-0. That was one of two goals scored by Josi. After that, The Predators never looked back and cruised to victory.

The offense hit a high point on Tuesday, but we can’t forget about the defense. Players have stepped up to start the season, and Pekka Rinne is off to a pretty good start too.

The Sharks had ten more shots than the Predators with a total of 35, and Rinne only let two hit the back of the net. Rinne has given the Preds a chance to win a lot of games, but the offensive power coming from the Preds in this game made Pekka’s job a bit easier.

The Predators look like one of the best teams in the NHL right now. Coming out of the gate, hot can propel them into some much-needed momentum to start the season off on the right path.

I know it’s still early in the season, but the Predators had a few different moving parts this offseason, so seeing them get along so well on the ice this early in the game makes me excited for what could come this season and in the future.

My blind faith believes the Vols can win six games. dark. Next

I think the Predators are once again among the best teams in the NHL, and I think if there’s a team to bring a professional championship to Tennessee, the Predators will be the ones to do it, and it’ll happen very soon.
