Tennessee Titans: The entire franchise is a joke
The entire franchise of the Tennessee Titans is a complete joke. It’s been evident since the hire of Mike Vrabel, and it continues up until now.
When the Tennessee Titans hired the bum named Mike Vrabel for their vacant head coaching position, I thought it might be a decent hire.
Turns out, it’s the complete opposite. While the league is trying to get younger, the Titans succeeded at that part, but the NFL is also turning towards an offense-heavy game, and the Titans hired a defensive coach.
Not even a good defensive coach either. Vrabel was a defensive coordinator for one year in Houston. The Texans’ defense was 31st in the league the one year Vrabel had control of the defensive unit.
Does he really know what he’s doing? I mean, yeah, the defense is elite, but it’s not because Vrabel is coaching up some guys who weren’t previously reaching their potential. This defense is good because each player’s individual talent exceeds the mistakes made by Vrabel.
And the bum Mario doesn’t know a single thing about offense. He and Arthur Smith couldn’t figure out how to score a touchdown if their life depended on it.
It has been ten quarters since the Titans have had a crooked number in a quarter. TEN QUARTERS! That is utterly embarrassing, and Vrabel does not deserve the head coaching job anymore if he even deserved it when he got it.
The bad hire has spilled over into bad coaching on the field and off the field. The non-development of Marcus Mariota has been the biggest downfall for Tennessee, and it has now resulted in the Titans entertaining the idea of changing quarterbacks.
Mariota hasn’t been fully developed ever since getting into the league. He ran a great offense at Oregon, and we’ve seen what he can do in the NFL when running a similar offense, but for some reason the past few years, the Titans have strayed away from that offense.
That’s one of the biggest results in the Titans’ terrible front office coaching decisions. I don’t know if they’re quite sure what they’re doing up there because it seems like every decision they make is the wrong one.
Now we are leaving this coaching staff to make the decision between Ryan Tannehill and Mariota. I think with Mariota not getting the NFL development he has needed, it might be best to go with Tannehill at least to start the game next week, but that leaves the Titans with some questions.
I don’t think it will matter who they pick because, with the poor coaching and game planing, I don’t think either Tannehill or Mariota will be able to overcome everything and find a way to win football games.
For some reason, whoever is running the social media over there thought it would be a good idea to tweet out that the Titans will be making a quarterback decision “in next 24 hours” like it’s some kind of awesome, fun reveal.
Delanie Walker is not having none of that along with just about every Titans fan that came across this post. What a joke you have to be to post this looking for interactions or whatever they’re doing.
Walker is all of us, and he feels what we feel, but will probably get cut or traded if he speaks out against what the Titans have been doing or what they’re doing currently.
Unfortunately, I think Mariota’s time is pretty much done as a Titan. I don’t think he will play many more snaps in a Titans uniform. I think the Titans have broken him, and he’s going to need a quarterback whisperer as a coach to fix him.
If the Titans decide to move on, then we will expect Amy Adams Strunk, Jon Robinson, and Mike Vrabel to decide who the next franchise quarterback will be. Welcome to Nashville Jarrett Guarantano! I won’t be surprised if they combine their tiny brains and screw it up again.
There’s a lot wrong with the Titans organization, and it starts up top and runs all the way to the very bottom. Until there’s some self-awareness and some changes, none of that is going to change, so don’t expect that to come anytime soon.
