Now, before you come after me about Andy Dalton, hear me out. He’s not a great QB, but a lot of that is thanks to Marvin Lewis.

In Andy Dalton’s nine-year career, he’s only not played a full season twice in his career. Despite Marvin Lewis messing everything up for years, Dalton has been able to overcome that and keep the Bengals somewhat relevant.

Dalton needs a franchise that can take him to the next step if he wants to become a great quarterback. While I don’t feel like the Titans could do that for him, I do think that they can do better than the Bengals are doing.

It would probably take a lot, but the Titans could package a deal together where they receive Dalton and a receiver or something for some picks and Mariota.

I think Dalton is a pretty good quarterback who has a lot of NFL experience, and he can help the Titans until they can figure everything out and eventually find their young franchise QB.

Dalton has thrown for less than 3,000 yards once in his career, and that was last season when he only played 11 games. He’s surpassed the 4,000-yard mark twice in his career and has 195 career touchdowns and 109 career interceptions.

I think Dalton has been overlooked for most of his career because he’s on a small market team, and the franchise has been run poorly.

All that could change if Dalton had a change of scenery and had a decent offense. And where’s a better place for the Red Rifle to play than Nashville?
