The Oakland Raiders are moving to Las Vegas, and that will be a great opportunity for them to move on from Derek Carr.

A few years ago, it looked like Derek Carr was going to be the future of the NFL. He took a 3-13 Raiders team in 2014 and took them to a 12-4 record two years later in 2016.

Since the 2016 season, Carr has gone downhill pretty quickly, similar to how Marcus Mariota has. Swapping Mariota for Carr could be a good move for both franchises as they try to find their future QB.

With the Raiders moving to Las Vegas and Jon Gruden looking to probably draft the quarterback of his choosing, so Carr is on borrowed time.

That also means he’s going to be available at the trade deadline, and it might not cost the highest bidding team too much to get him.

It’s all a matter of who Gruden likes and who he wants to be on his team. This is probably the most possible trade for the Titans. I don’t expect Carr to hang around the Raiders organization for much longer, and I would like to see what Carr could do with the Titans offense.

Then again, he might just be the same bum Mariota is only in Oakland. I wouldn’t be willing to give up a lot for Carr, but Gruden has been utilizing the trade block a decent amount since becoming the Raiders head coach, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he turns to it again.
