Tennessee Titans: Tom Brady would be a perfect fit but not realistic

Tom Brady could hit the free-agent markets after this season, and he would be a perfect fit in Nashville, but he would be an unlikely addition.

After the Patriots’ win against the Jets, Adam Schefter took to the post-game stage to detail Tom Brady‘s situation.

The unaging quarterback will be able to sign with virtually anyone in the NFL next year if he hits free agency. This led some Tennessee Titans fans to think about the possibilities of Brady in a Titans uniform in 2020.

The Titans’ quarterback position is the one position that no one has a plan for. The future is pretty much completely unknown with the quarterback position, which also means anything could happen.

I would think the Titans turn to the 2020 NFL Draft to find their next quarterback, but Brady could also be a solid addition to the roster.

Brady will probably leave New England in 2020, and I only think that because of what Schefty said. Brady and his trainer both put their homes up for sale, and Brady can void his contract after this season.

I know thinking Brady on another team doesn’t seem possible, but there’s a good chance it happens. The possibility of him coming to Nashville is also likely with the quarterback position unknown. It depends on if the Titans are willing to go all-in on him.

When you sign a veteran player like Brady, you have to be willing to give some things up to make things work. If he wants a new OC, you get him a new OC. If he wants a specific receiver, you go get that receiver.

If the Titans are willing to go all-in on Brady, then I would say sure Brady might come to Nashville next year. Even with their current offensive system, I think Brady would be a perfect fit.

It might not be a good fit for Marcus Mariota, but with the small sample size we have seen, we have seen it work for Ryan Tannehill. That proves another quarterback can thrive in that system.

Even if the Titans sign Brady and draft a quarterback, I would love to see Brady groom the future Titans quarterback. Brady is obviously one of the greatest quarterbacks of all-time, so he has a lot to offer as a player and as a coach for the young QB.

Unfortunately for Titans fans that may want to see TB12 in a Titans uniform, I don’t think the Titans are going to be willing to bring Brady in with his age and his future being unlikely. You can tack that onto their hesitation for doing what Brady wants with the offense.

There’s evidence that Brady could be leaving New England, but it could also just be a coincidence that both his house and his trainer’s house is up for sale. The voided contract could just be for Brady to get a better contract.

Next. There’s a new quarterback in town … again. dark

I don’t know what’s up with Brady’s situation, but I will say there’s something fishy going on. I would love to see the goat in a Titans uniform next season, but I just don’t think the Titans will find it reasonable to sign him.
