Tennessee football’s Twitter teased the Vols’ uniform combination they will be wearing for the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl, and it sent VolTwitter into a frenzy.

Over the weekend, Tennessee football’s Twitter tweeted out a tease of the uniform combination that the Vols will be wearing.

This sent VolTwitter into a bit of a frenzy as people were pleading with the official Twitter account to bring the orange pants to Jacksonville, Florida, and the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl.

There’s only one uniform combination that Tennessee should wear in its first bowl game since 2016. That’s a white helmet, orange, jersey, orange pants, and black cleats.

If the Vols wear that uniform combination, then there’s no chance they lose to Indiana. I mean, there’s already a small chance that the Vols lose to Indiana, but the magic of the orange pants could push that percentage to nearly zero.

Here’s the tweet that teased the orange Tennessee jersey with the newly added TaxSlayer Gator Bowl patch on the left shoulder. That also means that the CFB150 patch could be moved to the right shoulder as it was previously on the left side.

The hype will be there from the fans that travel to North Florida, and the players are going to bring it on the field, but if the Vols bring those orange britches, then Indiana has no chance.

The orange britches are undefeated, too, so there’s no excuse why they shouldn’t be on the plane to Jacksonville when the team heads to one of the worst states in America. 😉

Next. Tennessee Titans strategy to beat Texans could be a familiar one. dark

The bowl game is quickly coming as we’re about a week and a half away, and it’s almost time for the Vols to show Indiana what SEC football is all about.
