You’re dang right Ryan Tannehill is the AFC Offensive Player of the Month
Ryan Tannehill is being recognized as the AFC Offensive Player of the Month, and it’s well-deserved for the Tennessee Titans’ quarterback.
Ever since Ryan Tannehill took over the starting quarterback duties for the Tennessee Titans, the offense hasn’t been the same.
It looked like the Titans were heading for a top-five pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, and then Tannehill took over, and the Titans are now in the playoffs.
Since Tannehill became the starting quarterback, the Titans went on to a 7-3 record and a spot in the Wild Card Round in the playoffs.
In Tannehill’s last month of the year, he threw for 1,322 yards with 12 touchdowns and two interceptions.
Some might even argue that December was a worse month when it comes to Tannehill’s performance than November’s, but it was still enough to earn Offensive Player of the Month.
Tannehill’s final numbers on the season were 2,742 passing yards, 22 touchdowns and six interceptions with a QBR of 62.5.
Being honored as the AFC Offensive Player of the Month is well-deserved for Tannehill for what he has done on the field for what looked like a very bad Titans team.
He revitalized the offense, gave the team a sliver of hope and life, and maybe even gave the Titans a quarterback of the future.
Tannehill is the only reason the Titans are in the playoffs, and the only reason the Titans found any consistent success on offense.
Now he has the opportunity to take the Titans into Foxborough and beat the New England Patriots in Wild Card Weekend this Saturday.
