After its Wild Card win against the New England Patriots, the Tennessee Titans have risen as the most dangerous team in the NFL Playoffs.
The Tennessee Titans aren’t the most dangerous team in the playoffs because they’re the outright best team in the playoffs, nor do they have the best player in the playoffs. The Titans are the most dangerous team in the playoffs right now because of the unknowns that surround them.
The Athletic also said this, and I can’t disagree with them. With pretty much every playoff team, you know what they bring to the table and how to stop them.
The Titans have found production from so many different places recently. It’s hard to stop every producer on offense and defense.
We all know that Derrick Henry is the Titans’ biggest producer on offense, but the jury is still out on how to stop him. Other than that, the Titans have different weapons they can utilize at any time throughout the game.
The offense is also on fire, mostly thanks to Henry, and the team has only lost three of its last 11 games, and coincidentally, that’s when Ryan Tannehill took over as the starting quarterback.
The Titans face the Baltimore Ravens this Saturday for what will be both team’s biggest test of the season. For the Ravens, it’s time to prove it is a contender, and for the Titans, it’s time to prove it is not a pretender.
Fraud has been a word around the Ravens franchise this season, and up to this point, no one has taken the Titans very seriously outside of its opponents from week-to-week.
The Titans are coming off an all-time great win. A win that will be remembered for years after, and if the Titans need motivation, then it won’t be hard to find it after this past Saturday.
The Titans are dangerous because after a win like that, who knows how they’re going to come out and play.
If it’s anything like the past few months, the Titans will come out ready to play and won’t allow the Ravens to run over them.
