The Tennessee Titans are heading to the AFC Championship to play the Kansas City Chiefs and haven’t made a field goal since Week 13.

The crazy stat of the day is that the Tennessee Titans have not made a field goal since Week 13. Since Week 13, the Titans are just 0/1 kicking field goals.

Remember when the Tennessee Titans had a kicking problem? Well, head coach Mike Vrabel has opted to mostly simply not kick, but the couple of times the Titans have kicked, the field goals have been missed.

The last time the Titans have attempted a field goal is four games ago in Week 15 against the Houston Texans. Ryan Succop was 0/1 in that game, and the Titans lost by three.

Since Week 9, the Titans are 1/5 kicking field goals with three of the four misses coming in Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers.

Since the Titans have only kicked five field goals since Week 9, you may think that the Titans offense isn’t very good. Well, the Titans have just opted to score touchdowns instead of field goals.

Since Week 9, the Titans have scored 43 touchdowns. That may be crazier than the field goal stat! The Titans offense has been on fire so much to the point that they haven’t even had to worry about kicking field goals.

The Titans scored seven touchdowns against two of the best defenses in the NFL against the Patriots and the Ravens in its two playoff games.

The Chiefs defense ranks 16th in the league overall, 25th in passing defense, and seventh in rush defense.

The Titans have a great opportunity this weekend to continue to score touchdowns against the Chiefs.

With the Chiefs’ pass defense ranking 25th in the league, this could be the game that Ryan Tannehill steps up and takes over since the past two games have been focused on Derrick Henry.

Next. Are we really about to witness a Titans Super Bowl berth?. dark
