Tennessee Titans: Can we just take a minute to enjoy Dennis Kelly’s touchdown?
Tennessee Titans offensive lineman Dennis Kelly became the heaviest player to catch a touchdown pass in the Titans’ AFC Championship loss.
Dennis Kelly is an offensive lineman for the Tennessee Titans. He also finished this season with two touchdown catches.
If that’s not impressive enough, Kelly also became the heaviest player to catch a touchdown pass in NFL Playoffs history. Oh, and he also has more touchdown receptions in the playoffs than Odell Beckham Jr.
At six-foot-eight, 321 pounds, Kelly lined up on the line of scrimmage just moments away from breaking a record that many didn’t expect to be broken on Sunday.
There were some good things and bad things that the Titans did on Championship Sunday, but this is definitely one of the good things.
Head coach Mike Vrabel and offensive coordinator Arthur Smith have been able to come up with some good trick plays. From a Derrick Henry jump pass last week to Kelly’s touchdown reception this week, the Titans offense has been creative and fun for a lot of the season.
Kelly’s first touchdown of the season came against the Jaguars and it is a beautiful thing to watch, as all big man touchdowns are.

If that’s not good enough for you, then Kelly did it again in the AFC Championship with a Super Bowl spot on the line.

You just love to see it. Big man touchdowns are the best touchdowns. It was a tough second half for Tennessee, but this was definitely one of the highlights of the game.
The Titans traded for Kelly and gave up receiver Dorial Green Beckham, and ironically, Kelly replaces the receiver perfectly in the AFC Championship game with a receiving touchdown.
