An early over/under for wins has been made for the Tennessee Titans, and I would highly recommend hammering the over.

If you’re a betting person, I would look into the Tennessee Titans’ current over/under win total for the 2020 season. The Titans’ early win total is set at 8.5 by the Action Network.

After the 2019 season, the Titans’ being projected at 8.5 wins is a fair spot, but I think the second half of the season is a lot more telling as to how the Titans will perform in 2020, not the first half of the season.

Ryan Tannehill had the best season of his career in 2019. He had the highest passer rating going into the postseason, then helped lead the Titans to the AFC Championship.

Derrick Henry also had a career season in 2019. He won the rushing title as he should’ve and then was also a big part in helping lead the Titans to the AFC Championship in the postseason.

Throughout the 2019 season, we saw a big shift in the Titans’ performance on the field. The players started playing better, and the coaches started coaching better.

Mike Vrabel proved a lot of people wrong and proved he very well could coach a team to success, and I think that will continue in 2020. Vrabel’s defensive mind will continue to improve the defense, and the coaches he’s surrounded himself with will continue to improve everything else.

The national media is already saying Henry and Tannehill have hit their peak and will start going downhill from here on out. If they both come back to Nashville in 2020, then their chemistry will allow each of them to continue their success from the end of the 2019 season.

The defense is fairly young, but they will be a year older and a year better in 2020, and I think the likes of Jeffery Simmons, Amani Hooker, and Harold Landry are just a few young guys on that defense that could have a very good year in 2020.

It’s time to start taking the Titans seriously for 2020. I don’t know if the Titans will win the Super Bowl next year but they will for sure win more than eight games.
