With the new NFL year quickly approaching, the first odds for Super Bowl 55 have been released, and it’s not looking good for the Tennessee Titans.

It always feels weird to mention the next Super Bowl after talking about the previous one for a full year. So it’s time to get weird though as the first odds for Super Bowl 55 are now out and the Tennessee Titans are already looking to be counted out of the running.

BetMGM released the odds, and they have the Titans tied for ninth at (+2500) to win Super Bowl 55.

You can look at that two ways. First, that’s really good odds if the Titans can bring back both Ryan Tannehill and Derrick Henry, and you should take those odds. Second, the Titans are already being counted out of next year’s Super Bowl and are expected to be good to average in 2020.

The Titans currently sit behind the Dallas Cowboys and the Pittsburgh Steelers, two teams that didn’t make the playoffs last season, along with the Vikings, Seahawks, Eagles, Saints, Patriots, 49ers, Ravens, and the Chiefs sit at the top spot at (+650) to repeat.

The Titans could be sitting at ninth because its free agency situation is still up in the air, so if Tannehill and Henry return or if Tom Brady joins the Titans, then they could jump up that list.

If either Tannehill or Henry leaves, then we could also see the Titans fall down that list, especially if Henry leaves.

It could also be MGM joining the national media in counting out the Titans before the season ever starts. I know the Titans’ history isn’t great, but if the Patriots, Cowboys, or Ravens were in the Titans’ situation being just made it to the AFC Championship, then the media would be drooling over them.

Vol baseball might be the best team in the country. dark. Next

The Titans could already be counted out by people outside of Tennessee, but we know that doesn’t matter, and the Titans will be back in 2020 whether they like it or not.
