After the newest report, it looks like the Tennessee Titans will seriously look into bringing Tom Brady to Nashville in 2020.

Well, if you thought that the Tennessee Titans were ready to resign Derrick Henry and Ryan Tannehill, and get to work for the 2020 season, it looks like you’re wrong as the Titans are seriously interested in signing Tom Brady.

With a couple of Patriots ties, I’m not too surprised that they are interested in bringing Brady to Nashville, but it will be disappointing if the Titans let Tannehill walk to get Brady.

Now it looks like that could very well be a serious option for the Titans now with free agency nearing and hype surrounding Brady heating up.

Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer is now reporting that the Titans are “fully investigating the possibility” of signing Brady as their quarterback for 2020.

"“The Titans’ situation is a little more complicated—the idea of bringing Ryan Tannehill back in 2020 really does appeal to them, and they need to make a decision on tagging him before March 12—but they’re fully investigating the possibility to reuniting Brady with his buddy Mike Vrabel.”"

One of the interesting parts of this article is that the Titans could franchise tag Tannehill and still try to get Brady and allow them to battle it out for the starting spot this offseason. That’s probably the only win-win I can see in this situation.

The deadline to do that is March 12, a week and a half away, so that decision needs to come sooner rather than later if it’s going to happen.

At first, I was sold on bringing Brady to Nashville. The greatest quarterback of all-time on the Titans? Heck, yes, give it to me! Now, I would prefer the Titans to take a step back and assess their entire situation and what it will do for them long-term, not just short-term.

Tannehill has earned a contract with the Titans for 2020 and the future after his performance this past season. If the Titans let him walk and he goes to another franchise and continues to dominate, I and many others will be sick to my stomach, thinking about what could have been.
