Derrick Henry was the Tennessee Titans’ star during the playoffs. Now after a successful postseason, Henry has high projections for the 2020 season

Derrick Henry won the 2019 rushing title after an amazing regular season. He was a leader in the Tennessee Titans’ locker room and on the offense. He also helped lead the Titans to its AFC Championship run.

After 2018, “experts” believed that there was no way that Henry would be able to keep up his success. 1,540 yards rushing and 16 rushing touchdowns later, Henry proved he’s not only worth the money of a long-term deal, but he also has the ability to keep up his success for years to come.

It looks like his success could keep coming in 2020, too. At least Pro Football Focus believes that will be the case.

PFF has projected that Henry has another amazing season. Henry is projected to rush for 1,239 yards and win the rushing title for the second season in a row.

PFF’s Jeff Ratcliffe was the one to make the prediction, and I don’t think he’s far off from what the actual outcome will be. If Henry and the Titans can’t get a long-term contract signed, then he will once again be playing for a long-term contract, so another 1,000-yard season could very easily be on the horizon.

Ratcliffe also mentioned that Henry should be a first-round draft pick in fantasy this fall. If he’s going to be a back-to-back rushing champion, then I would agree.

Henry is one of the best running backs in the league, and he’s proven that over the past couple of seasons.

Next. Tennessee Titans have their eyes on an OL in the draft. dark

Some people are worried that his age is going to become a factor in his production over the next couple of seasons, but I think Henry can sustain his production for at least two or three more years.
