The Tennessee Titans are looking to win its first division championship since 2008, and they have a pretty good chance to do just that.

It has been over a decade since the Tennessee Titans won its most recent AFC South Division Championship, but they have a good chance to reclaim the division in 2020. The Titans went 13-3 in 2008, but since we have rarely seen much better than 9-7.

The Titans are trying to change that starting this year. They have been busy during free agency as general manager Jon Robinson and head coach Mike Vrabel work to improve on what they had last season.

After going to the AFC Championship, there isn’t much better you can get other than winning the Conference Championship and winning the Super Bowl, but the Titans could do that if they can bring the right players in this offseason, whether that’s in free agency or the draft.

After what seems to be a successful free agency, BetMGM has released its odds for division champions throughout the league for the 2020 season.

If the betting odds are right, the Jaguars will be the odd team out next year with a +1200 chance to win the division. The 2019 AFC South Champions, the Houston Texans, come in third at +310, and the Indianapolis Colts and Titans are tied for first at +155.

If the Titans get to that point where they win the division or at least make Wild Card Weekend, then they are sitting at +1400 to win the conference, the Colts are at +1200. If you’re hoping for a Titans Super Bowl, they have the 16th-best odds to win the Super Bowl at +2800.

Those aren’t necessarily great odds if you’re hoping for a historic season from the Titans, but it’s not impossible. Last year, the Titans defied all odds after starting the season 1-4 and went 8-3 to finish the regular season and went on to the AFC Championship before losing to the Chiefs.

The Titans are bringing back its core from last season. They lost a few players to free agency and trades, but the team is still intact for the most part from last season, along with a few extra additions to improve in areas needed.

If you ask me, the Titans have a really good chance to win the AFC South next season. They should be the favorites, not tied with the Colts.
