The Tennessee Titans could have the next best QB-WR combo in Ryan Tannehill and AJ Brown, and we could see them take off in 2020.

There has been some talk about Corey Davis after the Tennessee Titans made the decision to decline his fifth-year option, and we could see him improve his game this fall for an opportunity to stay in Nashville, but he’s not the receiver everyone will be focused on.

After only one season in the NFL, AJ Brown has already taken over the No. 1 wide receiver spot on the Titans’ roster. In his first year, Brown had 52 receptions for 1,051 yards and eight touchdowns.

Brown is undoubtedly the future of the Titans offense, and if quarterback Ryan Tannehill can bring the same fire and energy that he brought in the 2019 season, then the Titans offense could be even better than they were last year.

The Titans will need to take the next step to becoming an elite offense if they want to win the Super Bowl.

NFL.com’s Gil Brandt ranked the NFL’s top ten QB-WR combos, and the Titans’ Tannehill-Brown combo made the list.

They landed at No. 8, which is between two NFC North pairings. They landed behind the Green Bay Packers’ Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams, and just ahead of the Detroit Lions’ Matthew Stafford and Kenny Golladay.

"“Brown led all 2019 rookies in receiving yards (1,051) as the main big-play target for the Titans when opposing defenses got sucked into play-action fakes to running back Derrick Henry,” Brandt said. “With Tannehill and Henry returning for 2020, that success should be repeatable.”"

The eight best quarterback-receiver combo isn’t too bad, but I think that they can do better. Somehow Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins came in at No. 3 without even playing a game together.

I think that Tannehill and Brown can work their way into the top five with a full season together. Brown is one of the best second-year players in the NFL and if Tannehill can come back and take another step forward in 2020, then I can see the Titans as one of the best teams in the league.
