The odds are out, and the Tennessee Titans are opening the season as underdogs after going to the AFC Championship last season.

The 2020 NFL season was released on Thursday night, and we found out what the Titans schedule is going to be and what primetime games they’ll be playing in.

The Titans will start the season on the road in Denver to take on the Broncos in the second of two Monday Night Football games. That brought some buzz to social media after the Titans sent defensive lineman Jurrell Casey to Denver this offseason.

It seems as if Casey is ready for that Week 1 matchup as he took to Twitter to share his excitement for the Week 1 matchup, where he will likely be looking for a bit of payback.

That prompted Titans fans and even Kevin Byard to join the conversation and ask Casey not to be too mean to the Titans offense.

Unfortunately for the Titans, they’re opening the season as underdogs. According to BetMGM, the Titans (+1.5) are opening as underdogs against the Broncos (-1.5) to start the 2020 season.

That could easily flip into the Titans favor, but as of right now, Las Vegas has the Titans as underdogs in Denver for Week 1.

If the Titans were anything like they were during Week 6 of last season when they lost to the Broncos 16-0, then I’d say that’s a fair betting line, but the Titans have changed a lot.

Ryan Tannehill is now the full-time quarterback, Derrick Henry is the NFL Rushing Champion, and A.J. Brown looks to be ready for a dominant sophomore season. There have been major improvements with the Titans’ offense since Week 6 of last season.

Even with all of those improvements, it’s not easy to in Denver, especially at the beginning of the season.

The 2020 season is going to be exciting for the Titans, and I think the Week 1 matchup against the Broncos will be a fun game, but I do think that the Titans are going to get the Week 1 dub.
