Cleveland Browns defender Mack Wilson said he wasn’t surprised that Jeremy Pruitt and Tennessee football were dominating in recruiting.

Over the past two weeks, Tennessee football has been on absolute fire on the recruiting trail. Not only have they been on a roll getting commitments, but they’ve been from talented four and five-star athletes.

Some rival fanbases are pointing out the number of three-star athletes; Tennessee has to justify their reason for being triggered, but it’s not really working. Others are giving credit where credit is due, including Cleveland Browns defender Mack Wilson.

Wilson played at Alabama in college and spent a lot of time working with Jeremy Pruitt to get to the next level, so he’s not too surprised that Pruitt is mimicking his success at Tennessee.

The former Alabama took to Twitter to share that there might be something with the hot streak on the recruiting trail, as he quote tweeted the list of players that Tennessee had landed in the last 15 days and responded with, “PruittEffect!”

Surprisingly, this didn’t draw too much attention from opposing fanbases, except for a rude comment from a Georgia fan, but they bark in public, so that’s not too big of a surprise there.

But this is a glowing review by a former player that’s currently in the NFL for Pruitt. I’m sure this will be used as another tool in recruiting for Pruitt and company as they try to round out the class throughout the summer and the fall.

Wilson and Pruitt were pretty close when they were both in Tuscaloosa so there’s no surprise that Wilson is willing to give Pruitt the praise that so many throughout the SEC are refusing to do.

Vol Football is heading on the right track. Pruitt is back to recruiting at a high level where Phillip Fulmer once was; now, it’s time to start being successful on the football field like Fulmer did too, preferably in the 1998 season. Let’s do that on repeat.

Next. The Tennessee Titans not paying Logan Ryan isn’t a bad thing. dark
