The Tennessee Titans are getting ready for the 2020 season and looking to return to the AFC Championship, but it might not be easy.

The Ryan Tannehill-led Tennessee Titans offense was on fire during the second half of the 2019 season and thanks to Derrick Henry, the Titans were able to make it all the way to the AFC Championship.

The Titans are bringing back almost every starter on the offense and most importantly, the Titans will still have Tannehill, Henry, and A.J. Brown in 2020. I think Brown is going to have a great year in 2020 and I don’t think many people outside of Tennessee are going to expect it.

With that being said, I don’t know how you can look at those three players and not think that they are the best trio in the AFC South and look at the Titans offense as a whole and think that they’re not the best offense in the AFC South.

But that’s exactly what people are doing, at least according to Bleacher Report who asked its readers which team has the best skill players in each NFL division going into the 2020 season. For the AFC South, the Indianapolis Colts received the honor.

Tannehill wouldn’t be a part of the skill position group, so you have to take the quarterback position out of the conversation, and looking at only skill position players, that narrows it down to pretty much the Titans and the Colts, but I wouldn’t say the Colts have better skill players than the Titans.

Bleacher Report did mention that the addition of Philip Rivers is an upgrade for the Colts, but even if we’re talking about quarterbacks, then after watching both Rivers and Tannehill last season, I’m taking Tannehill and the Titans.

Looking at both team’s top receivers, if I’m choosing between T.Y. Hilton and A.J. Brown then I’m locking in Brown. Hilton only had 501 receiving yards last season where Brown had 1,051 receiving yards as a rookie.

Marlon Mack? Ha, try Derrick Henry, who had nearly 500 more rushing yards than Mack did in 2019 with 1,540 rushing yards to Mack’s 1,091.

I think we really know who has the best offense and best skill players in the AFC South. It’s not the Texans, it’s not the Colts, it’s the Tennessee Titans.
