Tennessee Titans make some off-the-field acquisitions
The Tennessee Titans have made some off-the-field acquisitions as they continue to build their front office to match their talent on the field.
The Tennessee Titans have a pretty good football team. They just came off a season where they made it to the AFC Championship, and they’ll be looking to at least repeat the 2019 season this fall.
General manager Jon Robinson has done a great job in free agency and in the draft to built the Titans’ depth with solid talent all around. Now the Titans are building up their front office with three new additions.
Titans team reporter Jim Wyatt reported that the Titans have made three new additions to its front office. Adolpho Birch III has been hired as Senior Vice President/Business Affairs and Chief Legal Officer, Surf Melendez as Creative Director, and Dan Werley as General Counsel.
Birch is a local who got his law degree from Vanderbilt University and has worked in legal offices in different capacities for nearly two and a half decades. He’s worked on youth concussion laws, the league’s tax status, and the FCC’s blackout rule. He’s been very successful in his field and could be a huge asset for the Titans in the future.
Melendez led the Dolphins media team to getting an Emmy and a Clio Award during his time in Miami. With social media becoming a part of the game and team’s looking to find new ways to gain new fans and followers, the Titans might’ve gotten one of the best in the business.
Werley has also worked in Nashville recently with Nashville SC. He was the General Counselor for the soccer club as well for one season before joining the Titans.
The Titans have added three guys to its front office who are at the top of their field. It looks like Jon Robinson is just as aggressive when it comes to getting the best people in his front office as he is with getting the best people on the field.
