Tennessee Titans general manager Jon Robinson has been named one of the most trusted GMs in the NFL after a recent poll.

Since Jon Robinson joined the Tennessee Titans as its general manager, the Titans have slowly improved as a franchise. It might not show with AFC Championships or Super Bowl championships, but the franchise from the front office to adding talent on the field has been improved.

The Titans have a competitive defense that can keep the Titans in the game when the offense is struggling. When the offense isn’t struggling, the Titans look like one of the best teams in the league, which was the case for a large part of the games that Ryan Tannehill started in the second half of the 2019 season.

A lot of the Titans’ recent success is thanks to Robinson. He drafted Derrick Henry and AJ Brown and brought Tannehill to Nashville. He also built the defense that is now one of the best in the AFC.

Robinson might be a good GM when it comes to drafting talent and building a roster, but is he trustworthy? Well, The Athletic’s Ben Standig conducted a poll where he asked 30 agents what their opinions were on front-office executives throughout the NFL.

Of the 32 general managers in the NFL, 19 of them were named “most trustworthy,” and Titans’ Robinson made that list.

When players are looking for somewhere to sign in free agency, they won’t listen to what an untrustworthy GM is saying because he’s not trustworthy. If Robinson can continue to build his reputation as a trustworthy GM then who knows who he will be able to sign to the Titans in the future.

Ryan Cowden, Titans Vice President of player personnel, was also mentioned as a future GM to watch. It looks like Robinson could be grooming one of the next NFL GMs in his front office.

Next. The Tennessee Titans are back. dark

Without Robinson, I don’t know where the Titans would be right now. I don’t think they would be coming off an AFC Championship run with an even brighter future ahead of them. Robinson has done one heck of a job as the Titans GM, and I don’t expect much to change anytime soon.
