The Tennessee Titans are planning on playing two preseason games but that could be cut down to one.

There have been questions surrounding Tennessee Titans and NFL Twitter asking if there will be a football season this fall. After the NFL cut the preseason in half, no football season became a bit more real.

The NFL could be inching towards no regular season as they are looking to cut the preseason again. The preseason could be cut down to a single game leaving teams only one game to decide who they want to keep and who they’ll have to cut before the regular season.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported the possible move on Twitter. If this were to become official, NFL teams would play one preseason game during the originally scheduled third week of the preseason on August 27, according to Pelissero.

Players throughout the NFL have been tweeting #WeWantToPlay over recent days to gain momentum that they want to play a full season, and the NFL should let them.

At this point, if they want to play and understand the risks that come with playing, I don’t think the NFL can do anything other than let the season play out. It’s like any other person that wants to go to work. If they are ready to get back to work and have the option to go into work or work from home, they’ll likely go in.

Some NFL players are pushing for no preseason games. That’s an interesting tactic and the only reason I can think of why they would want this is it might be harder to cancel the season after it has already begun than it would be to cancel the season after a preseason game for whatever that reason may be.
