ESPN listed four current Tennessee Titans players that could become future Hall of Famers. One is a Middle Tennessee native that continues to be underrated.

The Tennessee Titans’ first couple of decades in Nashville have had some ups and a lot of downs. They’ve had some great seasons and great playoff runs but have failed to ultimately win the Big Game.

Since the Titans have signed general manager Jon Robinson, things have started to slowly change for the better. Robinson has focused on building an all-around elite team while not breaking the bank. The Titans aren’t at elite status yet, but they could be on their way if Robinson continues to dominate drafts like he has been in recent years.

For the current Titans players, are there any future Hall of Famers on the roster? Possibly. ESPN named four current Titans players that could be future Hall of Famers.

Every player that ESPN listed probably won’t make the Hall of Fame, and that’s just natural. Only the best of the best get a gold jacket, and the four Titans players listed still have some work to do to prove that they are deserving to be in elite company.

The four players that ESPN’s Bill Barnwell listed are Derrick Henry, Kevin Byard, Taylor Lewan, and Vic Beasley. I think the list starts out strong with Henry and falls short with Beasley. I would’ve been completely fine if Beasley didn’t make the list, but maybe he can prove us wrong this fall.

"“Work to do (10% to 39%): RB Derrick Henry, OT Taylor Lewan, DE Vic Beasley Jr., S Kevin Byard. All of these guys have something in their favor, but it isn’t enough to propel them to meaningful consideration as of yet,” Barnwell said. “Henry plays a Hall-friendly position and just won a rushing title. Lewan has three Pro Bowls. Beasley won a sack title. Byard was a first-team All-Pro in 2017 when he led the league with eight picks, but despite playing at an upper-echelon level over the ensuing two seasons, he hasn’t received the same consideration. Judging safeties on interceptions is stupid, but we haven’t evolved beyond that point.”"

I think that if Henry, Lewan, and Byard continue on their upward trajectory, then they’ll make a really good case to make the Hall of Fame.

Next. Tennessee Football’s schedule isn’t as bad as it appears. dark

It will be interesting to see how each player’s career plays out from here and how much better or worse they might get. I think good things will be coming for the Titans players that are listed.
