After a successful offseason, the Tennessee Titans have opened as underdogs for their Week 1 game against the Denver Broncos.

The Tennessee Titans are coming off a season where they made it to the AFC Championship. The team’s core is returning, and they have an offseason together to improve their chemistry. The Titans didn’t get any worse this offseason, yet they are seen like they have gotten worse.

The Titans are opening the season as underdogs in their Week 1 matchup against the Denver Broncos. BetMGM has the Broncos as one-point favorites as the lines for the NFL’s Week 1 slate of games open with a 40.5 over/under.

The Titans aren’t big underdogs, and I would expect them to be favorites within the next couple of days, assuming the public betting trend would lean towards the Titans.

Denver beat the Titans the last time they played, but Tennessee also has a different quarterback. The team has completely changed for the better since the Broncos beat the Titans last season.

It’ll be an interesting battle between the gunslinger Drew Lock and the more balanced offense that Ryan Tannehill and the Titans offer. If it comes down to it, Tannehill isn’t afraid to sling the ball either. If both offenses are on when they kick-off, then we could see them easily hit the over in this game.

On the flip side, we could see both offenses come out slow with now preseason to warm up. Once we’re in the second half, I expect both offenses to be up to speed, though.

We could see anything in this game and for most of the games throughout the NFL’s Week 1. We haven’t seen an NFL season start without a preseason in a long time, so it’ll be interesting to see how different teams come out to start the season.
