The Tennessee Titans escaped Minnesota on Sunday with a 31-30 win over the Vikings and improve to 3-0 on the season.

The Tennessee Titans have survived another game and defeated the Vikings on the road 31-30 and improve to 3-0 on the regular season. The Titans are in sole possession of first place in the AFC South, but the Titans haven’t had an easy game yet.

It’s the first time since 2008 where the Titans have started the season 3-0, so if history repeats itself, the regular season is going to be good for the Titans.

The Vikings have had a tough start to the regular season. Titans fans were hoping that this would be an easy win, but as a Tennessee fan, I know that Titans games aren’t fun if they aren’t stressful.

Derrick Henry had another standout game. He finished the game with 119 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries. The run game continues to be a staple in the Titans’ offense, and it looks like Henry isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

Some Titans fans didn’t want the Titans to give a long-term extension to Henry because they were worried that he will slow down. I know we still have a lot of games until Henry’s new contract is up, but it doesn’t look like he’s going to be slowing down anytime soon.

Ryan Tannehill had another solid day under center, as well. He finished the day with 321 passing yards and one interception. He failed to throw for a touchdown, with most of the Titans’ points coming from field goals.

Stephen Gostkowski went 6-for-6 when kicking field goals and 1-for-1 on extra points. He had a day, and his leg was on fire. I think it’s safe to say that Gostkowski redeemed himself after his tough Week 1 performance.

The Titans’ schedule won’t get much easier than their first three games. Next week, the Titans will face the Steelers with the Bills coming up the week after.
