The Tennessee Titans are preparing to face its toughest opponent of the season as their matchup with the Indianapolis Colts is quickly approaching.

The Tennessee Titans took care of business against the Chicago Bears, and now they’ll have a short week ahead of them before they take on division rival, Indianapolis Colts.

Both the Titans and the Colts have been battling for first place in the AFC South over the past few weeks as the Titans lost two straight games to give the Colts an opportunity to come in and swipe the top spot away from the Titans.

The Titans are 6-2, and the Colts are 5-3, so if the Colts win this Thursday, then they’ll take over the top spot in the AFC South and kick the Titans to the second spot for the first time this season.

Las Vegas likes the Titans in this game as the betting line opens with the Titans as the favorite in this game, although not by much. The Titans open as two-point favorites in this game, and the over/under has been listed at 48.5.

Based on these opening lines, it looks like we’re in for a classic Titans-Colts matchup, which is probably something that some Titans fans don’t want to hear. The Titans haven’t necessarily had the best luck against the Colts, especially in close. games. Since 2010, the Titans only have four wins against the Colts.

The Titans did get the best of the Colts in their last meeting in December 2019 with a 31-17 win in Indianapolis, so the Titans will look to repeat what they were successful at in that game.

Whoever wins this game will have the edge over its opponent moving forward. For all we know, if the Titans flop over the next three weeks, then the Colts can steal the division right out from under the Titans.

Knowing the Titans’ recent history against the Colts, this could be the Titans’ toughest game of the season. The Colts always seem to have the Titans’ number, so the Titans will look to end that dominance with its second-straight win against the Colts this Thursday.
