The Tennessee Titans will be going head-to-head against the Indianapolis Colts this Thursday as both teams are fighting for the top spot in the AFC South.

The Tennessee Titans offense has been dominant this season and has bailed out a historically bad defense, especially when it comes to third-down defense. Ryan Tannehill and Derrick Henry have proved time and time again that they have what it takes to be leaders and carry an NFL offense.

The Titans will be facing another tough defense this Thursday when they take on the Colts, who have been dominant so far this season. The Titans faced its first really tough defense of the season when they faced the Steelers in Week 7 and then faced another tough defense in the Bears in Week 9.

So the Titans have had some experience now with some top-level defenses in the NFL, and the offense has improved every game since the Steelers loss. Although the offense has been improving since Week 7, the offense still hasn’t been as good as the offense during the first six weeks.

We could see the Titans continue to improve this Thursday when they face the Colts, but it won’t be an easy game. The Colts’ defense has been elite this season. So far, they have allowed the third-fewest rushing yards, passing yards, and points per game.

If the Titans want to win this game, then they’re going to have to see a big improvement on the offensive side of the football, as well as the defensive side of the football.

Through six of the first eight games of the season, the Titans needed at least 30 points to win the game. It looks like they’ll probably be in that position once again, and they can’t rely on a late second-half comeback to secure the win. It didn’t work out against the Steelers, and it likely won’t work out against the Colts.

The winner of this game on Thursday will hold sole possession of first place in the AFC South, and it can give the Titans some breathing room moving forward. If the Titans want to win, they’ll have to bring everything they have on offense.
