The Tennessee Titans get revenge on the Indianapolis Colts, and now Derrick Henry is the king of Baltimore and Indianapolis.

The Tennessee Titans suffered a loss to the Indianapolis Colts a couple of weeks ago, which dropped the Titans to second in the AFC South and a tough road ahead. After a win against the Baltimore Ravens last week and a bounceback win against the Colts this week, the Titans jump back up to first in the AFC South.

The last two weeks have shown that the Titans offense has the potential to compete with any other offense in the NFL. After the Titans’ win against the Ravens, I mentioned that we could look back at that win later in the season as a turning point for the team.

Before that week, the Titans had suffered a couple of losses in between a win, and the schedule wasn’t getting any easier. Well, the Titans just defeated two top teams in the AFC in back-to-back weeks with impressive offensive showings.

A lot of credit for those impressive showings can go to the king himself, Derrick Henry. In the Titans’ 45-26 win over the Colts, Henry finished the day with 178 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

This marks the third straight week where Henry finished with more than 100 rushing yards. In those three weeks, he’s totaled 414 rushing yards with 103 rushing yards against Indianapolis two weeks ago and 133 rushing yards last week against Baltimore.

These past three weeks have helped him in defending his rushing title. After 11 games, Henry is once again leading the NFL in rushing yards with 1,257 yards.

We’re seeing the same Henry that helped get the Titans to the AFC Championship last season, and there’s no better time for Henry to come into form than the second half of the season.

The next three weeks should be wins for the Titans as they face the Cleveland Browns at home and then head to Jacksonville to face the Jaguars before returning to Nashville to take on the Detroit Lions. Don’t be surprised if Henry shows out in any of those games too.
