Cam Sutton — Cornerback — Tennessee

Tennessee Vols fans will have no problem telling you what Cam Sutton meant to their defense during his four years on Rocky Top.

Sutton wasn’t a highly touted recruit out of high school, signing with the Vols as three-star cornerback out of Georgia.

But it didn’t take long for Sutton to develop into one of the better shutdown corners in the SEC.

The former Vol started every game in which he played at Tennessee (he missed five games due to injury as a senior in 2016).

Sutton’s coverage skills are good enough to label him a first round talent, but there are some holes in his game.

A lot of NFL scouts don’t like the fact that Sutton isn’t very physical as a corner, which could obviously be an issue in the NFL.

There’s also the concern that Sutton won’t be an effective defender against the run.

But then again, there were plenty of questions surrounding Sutton coming out of high school and all he did was become a four-year starter in the SEC.
