Tennessee @ Kentucky

October 28 — TBA

At this point in the season, after three losses by late October, the Vols will likely be unranked and the fanbase will be as split as ever. It will be a pivotal point in the season for Tennessee.

Typically, when you see Kentucky on the schedule you get to breathe a sigh of relief.

But the Wildcats aren’t a pushover team at this point. I don’t think they’re a threat to win the SEC East, but they’re capable of knocking off any team in the division.

We’ll see what the Vols are made of when they travel to Lexington on the last Saturday in October.

Will a frustrated Tennessee team roll over and blow the season against the Wildcats?

I don’t think that will be the case. Butch Jones’ teams typically respond well to adversity. I think we’ll see that in action again in 2017.

Prediction: Tennessee wins

Record: 5-3
