Tennessee Vols: 2017 Pre-Season SEC Power Rankings
By Zach Ragan
12. Missouri Tigers
Missouri proved they could score in 2016, but their defense mostly let them down.
If the Tigers can get things straightened out on defense, they could be a tough opponent in 2017.
The defensive line should be better this season, mostly because of Marcell Frazier.
Missouri’s secondary, however, is questionable at best. The Tigers have to replace two starting cornerbacks. So I don’t have a lot of hope for the defense improving too much from last season.
But because of Missouri’s ability to score, I think they’ll avoid falling to the bottom of the SEC East in 2017.
