Week one result: UCLA 45 Texas A&M 44
And here we have the first team in our power rankings that actually lost this week.
Had the Aggies went on the road and lost by a point in a game that was closely contested throughout, this loss probably wouldn’t be that big of a deal.
UCLA was the favored team, after all.
But the Aggies blew a 34 point lead. That’s a brutal way to lose and there really isn’t any excuse for it.
However, I’m still convinced that Texas A&M would beat the four teams below them in our week two power rankings.
