Former Tennessee Vols head coach Lane Kiffin is pure magic when it comes to Twitter.
This shouldn’t come as a surprise, but former Tennessee Vols head coach Lane Kiffin has turned into one of the most entertaining follows on Twitter.
Kiffin’s had quite a bit of fun over the last few months tweeting about Tennessee and Alabama.
The FAU head coach also, on occasion, will “like” a tweet that mentions Tennessee or Alabama (nothing goes unnoticed anymore).
One of the tweets that Kiffin recently “liked” suggested that Lane is a better coach than his old boss Nick Saban.

That’s cute Lane, but we’re talking about potentially the greatest coach in the history of college football.
Kiffin possesses a great offensive mind, but let’s not forget that he’s been fired as a head coach twice.
Saban has never been fired as a head coach.
If all things were equal, and the two coaches went head to head, I think Saban wins 8 out of 10 times.
Kiffin might be a fun follow on Twitter, but he might want to remember that he’s the head coach at FAU. And that’s because he squandered opportunities in the NFL, SEC, and Pac-12. He’s now doing every thing he can to get back to that level.
(And he desperately wants to get back to that level.)
Eventually someone at a Power-5 school is going to hire Lane Kiffin again.
It’ll be interesting to see if Kiffin has learned from his mistakes. But I’m willing to bet that he’ll end up repeating a lot of the same mistakes.
